Q. What can I do when the meter shows “Error message” on the screen?

Error message:E-b/ Err 36

Battery power is too low to operate the meter. The meter will not operate until the batteries are replaced.
Solution: You have to replace or charge the batteries soon.

Error message: E-C/ Err 22

Invalid code strip insertion. E.g. get wrong test strip, defective test strip.

Solution: Only use the same brand strips which were produced specifically for your glucose monitor.

Error message: E-U/ Err 24

Inserts a used test strip. Repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood sample is input before the symbol for blood blinks.
Solution: Wait for the "blood drop" symbol to blink then re-test using a proper amount of blood.

Error message: E-t/ Err25

The meter or test strip appears when the environmental temperature is below system operating range. System operation range is 10~40℃ (50~104℉).
Solution: Repeat the test after the meter or test strip has reached the above temperature.

Error message: E-t/ Err 26

The meter or test strip show on the screen when the environmental temperature is above system operating range. System operation range is 10~40℃ (50~104℉).

Solution: Repeat the test after the meter or test strip has reached the above temperature.

Error message: E-F

Strip was removed soon after applying blood and not given enough time to be absorbed by the absorption hole.

Solution: Repeat the test with a new test strip and wait for the test result.

Error message: Lo

Poor amount of blood sample or blood glucose value under measurement range 20 mg/dL (1.1mmol/l).

Solution: Get a sufficient amount of blood sample and repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood glucose measurement range is 20~600 mg/dL (1.1~33.3 mmol/L). Repeat the test and seek immediate medical attention.

Error message: Hi

Blood glucose value over measurement range 600 mg/dL (33.3mmol/L).

Solution: Get a sufficient amount of blood sample and repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood glucose measurement range is 20~600 mg/dL (1.1~33.3 mmol/L). Repeat the test and seek immediate medical attention.

The meter may have some defective problems.
Solution: Repeat the test with a new test strip or repeat the measurement. If the error message appears again, please contact our distributor or us.
